The Ascona Prize is a long-standing reflective essay competition about the student-patient relationship. It is run by the International Balint Federation (IBF): http://www.balintinternational.com/ascona-prize-for-students/
Winners will be offered subsided travel to present their essays, which will be held in Sept 2017, in Oxford, UK. Both NZ and Australian students have entered this competition previously, with highly commended entries in 2015 (Metz, in France), and a NZ winner in 2013 (Heidelberg).
Entries need to be submitted by December 31, 2016. There are more details in the attachment.
